On April 21, 2025, the conference titled \u201cInnovative
\nThinking: Steps Towards Development\u201d was held by the
\n\u201cInnovative Progress and Support for Socio-Economic
\nDevelopment\u201d Public Union. The event began with the
\nnational anthem of Azerbaijan and a one-minute silence to
\nhonor the souls of martyrs. Saida Musayeva, the
\nchairwoman of the \u201cInnovative Progress and Support for
\nSocio-Economic Development\u201d Public Union, opened the
\ndiscussion on the topic \u201cThe Path to Development for
\nWomen and Children Victimized by Domestic Violence.\u201d
\nThe conference was attended by prominent experts from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, NGO leaders, and women entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

At the conference, NGO leaders from Kazakhstan, Aliye
\nSaginbayeva and Saule Musina, along with Azerbaijani
\nNGO leaders Z\u00fclfiyy\u0259 Nuriyeva, Mehriban Abdullayeva,
\nR\u00fcxsar\u0259 Axundova, Firuz\u0259 C\u0259lilova, Zeyn\u0259b Hac\u0131yeva,
\nT\u00fcnzal\u0259 \u018fzimova, HR trainer Leyla \u018fs\u0259dullayeva, Training
\nCenter head C\u0259mal\u0259 Nax\u00e7\u0131vani, \u201cLandau\u201d school teacher
\nX\u0259yal\u0259 \u015eabanova, European Youth Parliament member
\nstudent Leyla Nax\u00e7\u0131vani, and women entrepreneurs
\nparticipated.<\/p>\n

Kazakhstani experts presented their \u201cMother\u2019s Home\u201d
\nproject, aimed at preventing social orphanhood, which was
\nimplemented in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The project
\nprovides shelter to young women, usually pregnant or with
\na newborn, in the \u201cMother\u2019s Home.\u201d<\/p>\n

The main goal of the project is not only to provide support
\nto these mothers during crises and prevent the child from
\nbecoming an orphan if the parents are still alive, but also to
\ncreate favorable conditions for their successful adaptation
\nto society.<\/p>\n

Through consultative cases, the life stories of young mothers were analyzed, general patterns were identified, and statistical data was presented. During the conference,experts shared their long-term observations on violence from their respective perspectives. Along with stories of
\nviolence they encountered in their practice, they also shared successful stories of women. Discussions were held on identifying situations of violence and conflict, the solutions
\nto such problems, and how to help women facing such incidents. A student speaker discussed the negative psychological effects of such violence on children and teenagers.<\/p>\n

The conference featured broad discussions on important
\ntopics such as innovative thinking, paths to socio-economic
\ndevelopment, the role of women in society, and violence
\nagainst women. The event was memorable for its rich
\npresentations both practically and theoretically. Experts
\nshared crucial thoughts on ways to lead society to
\nsustainable development, engaging young people in
\ninnovation, and preventing gender-based violence.<\/p>\n

At the end of the event, certificates were presented to the
\nparticipants, and opportunities for collaboration on future
\nprojects were discussed. The presence of both academic and
\nsocially active individuals among the participants enhanced
\nthe interactivity and depth of the discussions.<\/p>\n

The conference concluded with the presentation of an art
\nexhibition featuring eye-catching paintings by young
\nfemale artists.<\/p>\n
