Another important initiative of the Azerbaijan National NGO Forum is an educational event titled “Don’t Just Like — Act!”

On August 2, 2025, a public awareness event titled “Don’t Just Like — Act!” was held, organized by the National Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations of Azerbaijan.

The main objective of the event was to promote the idea that in the age of social media, people should move beyond being passive observers and embrace active civic responsibility. It also aimed to support the enhancement of psychological well-being and social awareness, particularly among youth.

Within the framework of the event, discussions were held with the participation of psychologists, focusing on the impact of indifference observed on social media on the psychological health of society, as well as exploring ways to prevent such trends. Important topics such as fostering active civic engagement, strengthening educational initiatives, and sharing social responsibility were addressed among the participants.

The organization and implementation of the event were carried out by the National Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations of Azerbaijan and its chairman, Ramil Isgandarli. Initiatives of this kind, led by him, make a significant contribution to public awareness, the promotion of social responsibility, and the strengthening of civic engagement.

As the “Innovative Progress and Ecology” Public Union for Socio-Economic Development, we extend our sincere gratitude to the chairman of the National NGO Forum of Azerbaijan, Ramil Isgandarli, for organizing and facilitating such relevant and valuable initiatives.
