Information session on grants

On November 28, 2024, the next information session regarding the grant competitions announced by the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations for the year 2025 was successfully held at the Baku Congress Center. The event aimed to further strengthen cooperation between NGOs and government institutions, as well as to provide comprehensive information about the terms and priority areas of the grant competitions.
The session was attended by Tural Aliyev, Head of the NGO Sector of the Department for Work and Communication with NGOs of the Presidential Administration; Aygun Aliyeva, Executive Director of the State Support Agency for NGOs; Azer Allahveranov, Member of the Board of the National NGO Forum of Azerbaijan; along with representatives of relevant institutions, NGO leaders, and public activists.
During the meeting, participants’ questions were addressed, proposals were listened to, and relevant notes were taken.Detailed explanations were also provided regarding the
expectations and key criteria for the upcoming grant competitions. Representatives of the State Support Agency emphasized that transparency, accountability, and enhancing social impact are among the main priorities.
The Chairwoman of the “Innovative Progress and Ecology for Socio-Economic Development” Public Union, Saida Musayeva, also took part in this important event. She actively participated in the discussions held within the session, sharing thoughts and notes on the organization’s
priority areas and future project plans.
Thus, the information session on the 2025 grant competitions concluded. It is worth noting that over the past three days, more than 300 NGO leaders and representatives
participated in the sessions and received detailed information about the process.
